hi i have a 57 bravo that the brake callipers on the front got stuck on in feb and now 6 months later the same has happened on back the callipers are covered under warrenty but not pads and discs any one else having same problems:bang:

Discs & Pads won't be covered as they wear out & would be costing the dealer alot to replace everytime, just like tyres etc... if its the caliper thats causing the problem why change the discs & pads?

If it was a sticking caliper causing the pads to wear out and damage the discs I would be absolutely insistent that they changed those under warranty as well, wearing parts or not!

Yes. I had the front nearside caliper stick on intermittently and in about a fortnight it ground the pads on that side down to almost nothing. Motorvogue in Northampton changed the caliper and both front discs and pads under warranty. Apparently the seal had extruded out of its recess and was preventing the piston from moving back.
I was expecting them to ask me for a contribution towards pads and discs as they had 22,000 miles on them at the time but they didn't...

I can tell you now, they can get them under warranty.. under consequential damage.

When i drive down my drive way i put the car in neutural and i hear the brakes hissing, as if i am pressing the brakes down.

Am I suffering the same issue? Is that normal?

Nope you shouldn't be. Just need new brake pads and possibly discs.
