Hi to everyone.
im looking to buy a bravo mjet 150 sport about 1-2 years old as you can pick one up for less than £10,000 with 4000 or so miles on the clock

So with this in mind is there anything in particular you guys suggest i look out for and pay particular attention to when test driving the car.

cheers

Just that everything should work. Take some time and go through every switch.

The ride should be quiet on a decent road surface. The ride is firm so a poor road will cause a lot of tyre noise. There shouldn't be any suspension knocks.

Check the car has been serviced correctly. Bravos are coming upto 2 years old - Launched in the UK in July/August? That's at least one service depending on mileage.

Make sure all recalls have been done (can be done after if it's bought from a non-fiat garage).

Warranty on some items is not 3 years. For example radio and wheels are 1 year, so if it's over a year and has issues with these items that's chargable work!

Other than that not a lot to look out for. The car should be a good drive. If it's got any strange noises, or lack of power it's got issues.

Help please
Has this current shape Bravo been facelifted at all since its launch
Does anyone know if there is any plans to facelift it soon

Cheers

no and no.

not for another 2 or 3 years, or maybe never, the stilo never had a facelift, it was replaced so was the previous bravo and most of the fiat models.

this is actually part of the reason I bought this car, I would have hated to buy a french or german thincan just to see a facelifted model come out 4 months later.

Actually, most models do get a 'facelift', but they're generally small details. The Tipo got thinner headlamps. The Brava got some silver bits on the grill. The Punto Mk2 got a new grill and lights. The GP has just got it's update but it's less obvious than any before!
