From what little I've learnt from various jobs in AV, clipping is when the amplified signal exceeds what the amplifier can support and anything above its maximum is simply cut off and lost.
Direct line do a 7 day free insurance so you can drive the car away.. (in other words it allows the dealer to tax the car). They also give you a quote for insurance.
