Hi again all,not been doing bad a couple of weeks trouble free motoring b4 this weeks new problem. What happened is both my headlights went at the same time,i done the obvious bulbs, fuses relay etc to no avail.Mainbeam and sidelights are ok just headlights gone.
In the end took it to a car spark who told me the headlight switch in the stork was knackered and fiat only sell it as a whole unit, well over 100 quid!!
He done a fix for now, hotwiring the headlights to the sidelight switch so when i put sidelights on headlamps come on too. This is ok for now but wont pass a mot.Tried loads of scrappys in my area but they,ve all either gone or the yard owners want stupid money for em.
anyone got one they want to sell or any advice on a replacement, sorry for the mega-long post, cheers anthem

you could hot-wire your headlights to your foglight switch instead

There was a set of column switches on eBay a while ago. Otherwise do a search on vehicle breakers. There are some that will take an order and then source the parts for you, don't remember their URL's though.

Thanks for that if you find the addy of those switches polecat Please let me know!Didnt think to wire the lights into the foggys(as they dont work either, just look pretty)Would like the new switches, just not at the main dealer price.I'll try a few more scrappys for now. Thanks anthemmmaster(oh by the way are the storks on a mera and a brava the same or what other models have the same switches)cheers anthem

the light stalks and the wiper switch anre one unit, and the Marea doesn't have a rear wiper. the weekend does but I think it has a variable delay on the intermittant front wiper switch that the brava doesn't have so wiring may be different
