Well hello all, Its been ages since I last left a thread.

I am just waiting to get enough cash together to get new TAX at the moment, but she passed her MOT, Now I have to replace the bumpers, I may as well get a whole body kit, no spoiler, I hate them on a car that is not fast enough to realy need it.

What is the best thing I could do to the engine?

I was thinking about a K&N air filter, will that help.

I am on the dole at the meoment so cash is v tight. I am going back to college (age 32) to study 3D design so I have to get the car back up and running by september.

What are the best alloys to match a Brava?

Thanks all
Talk soon :)

Thanks for the post :worship:

OK that sounds cool, how would I do that?
I may be good on computers but I only know a few things about cars, I know how to change the oil, spark plugs, oil filter ect. but you loose me when you atert talking about "cold feeds". Having said that what is there better then an K&N? I would love to know. I am not chipping the car, as I don't need that much speed ect, I just would like the car to run a bit nicer.

I am tempted ( :tempt: ) to repaint the whole car black, mind you cash is a problem at the moment.

She needs...

new bumpers
a large dent removed from the boot
lots of little dents from body (she was used as a tool lugger for a tiler mate of mine)
new glove box lock unit
sunroof needs the inner part putting back on the rails
interior needs a good clean on the dash to remove residue from sticky tape (used to hold glove box closed)
needs a new plasic panel in the boot ( under the door part over the back wiper motor)
new rear wiper motor
new rear wiper blade.

Lots to do
she has passed her last MOT with only the need for a new tire, and they failed her because they could not find the rear seat belt things ( they were under the seat) but they are not allowed to move the seats to have a look. silly or what?
She has had the timing set right and all electrics passed all tests.
she runs well, but with a better air suply I feel she can run better.

 I know long reply, but there you are.

Hello, always nice to catch up :D That's good news about the MOT, it's always a scary time! IMO a Brava would look wrong with a bodykit and no spoiler (snowplough springs to mind, and yes, it does go plenty fast enough to find it useful) but each to their own! Have you considered an HLX/ ELX bumper upgrade? There's a few of us doing that at the moment :)

Good luck with the college course and all the bits that need doing anyway!

if u look at my profile there is a pic of my car with fiat alloys on i love them i payed 100 for them with the tyres from a scrappie
