I have a Fiat Punto 55sx which I would like to customise. As it only cost me £1250 I really don't want to spend a fortune on it so I'm considering my options.

The car's metallic yellow with black bumpers and standard side skirts. I do actually like the colour scheme but I don't like having so much plactic.

I was wondering if it would be possible to cover the bumpers and skirts in carbon fibre and whether anybody had seen this done before as I'm not sure how it would look. How exactly you you apply carbon fibre? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Be carful not to get the carbon fibre covering on your windscreen. As you missed the punto post by a couple of inches I suggest you get someone else to do it for you, lol.

To be honest I think it would look a bit naff and even more plasticy than it will do now. Worth saving the extra pennies and getting them sprayed to the same colour as your car
