I have a 2001 Brava 1.2 sx. The horn has always been tempremental but managed to scrape through previous MOTs with it working. Last year the garage got it going but managed to leave the airbag warning light on which they couldn't reset although that job will need to be done for this years test!

Anyway i have by chance worked out that if the horn isn't working a quick flick of the rear wash/wipe stalk will make the horn work again. Without taking the steering column shroud off, anyone any idea why such a thing should occur?

Possibly a bad connection between the loom in the column and the "clock spring" inside the steering wheel?

as all your issues seem to be based around the wheel and storks , that's the best place to start,

seen FAR worse..,

usually down to somebody interfering with connections..,
