been having major drama since i cleaned out my throttle body... had a huge flat spot before but now its gone replaced with limp home mode which is pissing me off to no end slowly diagnosing and ruling things out
just thought id put these photos up to help newbies recognise and find these bits if they ever need to know wat they are.....
undo the 4 10mm nuts ontop of the throttle body,, unclip those 2 cables on top unscrew hose clamp underneath then theres 4 x 5 or 6 mm hex bolts going through the throttle body into the inlet manifold.. take these out and the body comes off ps if you decide to take the butterfly valve out make sure you note which way it goes back in other wise it wont seat properly and everything will need to come out again... battery and whole air intake needs to come out,, and the resonator tank aswell,,

hey, wondering if this goes for brava's as well. ive been having problems with mine, car kept cutting out while driving, garage said it was the throttle body. someone on here recommended cleaning it out and doing an ecu reset, do you have any idea about how to do this on a 1.6 brava? cheers

hi mate
never touched a brava so wouldnt know the difference is,, however. if the throttle body is electronically opened its going to be roughly the same
im sure other guys would have some more insight to your dramas
