Hi,

Does any one know, short of removing the 'box and replacing it, what I could do to stop 2nd gear from crunching in...? Are there any mod kits out there? Anything I can do to the clutch arm?

Is this a common known fault with Bravo's?

Any help/advice much appreciated.

It sounds as though the synchromesh has gone on second.
If it goes into the other gears ok then this is the problem, not the clutch.

If you can easily select second gear without the engine running then this will rule out a damaged gear linkage.

Sounds like 2nd gear syncro is faulty as said - recon box or overhaul your current 'box. In the mean time double clutch before going into 2nd gear.
