as some of you have seen my old thread. i have now lowerd the car 40mm fitted a full exhaust system (which is loud as (set a car alarm off with it earlier!)) and also debadged it.

car as it is now

im undesisive on weather to get smoked/grey or green side repeters.
i am getting the windows tinted in the next couple of weeks so im swaying towards smoked because it will match my wheels and windows.

ive heard a few people have used citoren AX rear window bungs to fill the hole they're rear wiper leaves after dewipering it. is this the best option or are theyre any flatter options? i want to get rid of my rear wipper as its nothing but trouble, and i dont use it.

on the wiper front are theyr any single wiper conversion kits for the bravo? or would it be easy to make one myself? the hardest part i can see about it is the platsic cover which i asumme i could make a new fibre glass one.

and a little problem my bravo has recently developed. the dashboard lights are very dim and when i have my headlights on the headlight sign does not illuminate. the handbrake, battery and injector lights are working though.
is this likley to be a fuse? or a the bulbs gone? if the later do i need to remove the whole dashboard to get to the lights? or how do i do it?

cheers.

dont be proud about a loud exhaust :p

i'd go for smoked side repeaters, green is very chavvy.

if you remove the rear wiper a bottom of the range mk3 fiesta has a good bung that is perfectly flat. easily nicked at a scrapyard ;)

check the connectors behind the instrument panel, give them a wiggle and all the lights should work again. also check the dimmer to see if you've knocked it.

i dont know why you'd want to make a fibreglass cover, why not drill a new hole in the existing one, then modify the linkage length, then you could have a sinlge wiper that parks in the centre (this is the usual way to do it DIY)

I'm with Jug on the smoke side repeater. Green would look pretty poor, and clear wouldn't blend too well with the rears, windows, and dark wheels.

As for a single wiper conversion. You'll be dissapointed by the amount of sweep from one of these. The depth (from top to bottom) of the windscreen is big on the Bravo's, and you'll find that in order to get the single wiper to sweep at least 3/4 of the way up the screen, the wiper will then be too wide from side to side.

Incidentally, if the sweep problem doesn't put you off, have a guess which Fiat car's single front wiper motor fits perfectly (electrically) to the standard Bravo front wiper connector....:)

i ordered some smoked side repeaters from ebay last night :)

ill give the connections a wiggle and check the dimmer.

didnt think about the windscreen width being a problem but i see where your coming from.

jug the reason i was thinking about making a fibre glass one was for neatness.

circolo i have no idea!
possibly could use my rear wiper motor as im de-wipering the rear.

PS.
dont be proud about a loud exhaust :p
it was a 1.8 hlx in the same colour as yours aswell :p

i know!!! its the UNO :) unos only came with one wiper as standard. circolo knows this as he is a previous uno owner. likewise :)

surely if you drill a hole for a single wiper conversion, you will have two bear holes where 2 wipers used to be?

dnlcal - dont use your rear wiper motor. they are known to be unreliable in bravo/as.

Fiat Uno (front wiper motor)!

Fits perfectly (electrically), but you'd have to fabricate something for it to mount on correctly.

:)
