Today I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that blue&me had synchronized the car's phonebook from the phone without any intervention from me.

Media Player - Track Order

Hi

Does anyone know how to get the Media Player to play tracks in Track Number order rather than track name alphabetical order? I have used a fudge using playlists for a few albums but don't want to do this for all 300!

Hi,
I hope someone can help me, I've a Grande Sporting 1.9 multijet (130bhp) and it's only 2 months old, the problem is the Blue&Me handsfree system keeps pairing with my phone (it also recognises it as the phone type and model appears on the dash) but when I try to download the phonebook or make a call it disconnects, the phone is a Sony Ericsson K800i, my local Fiat dealers do not have a clue as to why this is happening, and more worrying is the fact that the head service guy does not know how Bluetooth works!!!! PLEASE HELP.

Have you authorized the blue&me to make connections to the K800i without asking permission? Is that what's happening, asking permission to connect?

Ive set my phone to always allow connection, so I have eliminated the fault being on the phone side, I have heard that I may need to reset the B&M back to original state but I can not find out how to do this.

The tracks already have ID3 Tags. Putting numbers in front of 3000 plus songs doesn't seem like a sensible option. The system should be able to play by track number not using alphabetical order - anyway by using that method Track 11 would play after Track 1 rather than Track 2.

In the CONFIGURATION, you should have a USER DATA, and a RESET there, I guess.

Also, there's the well known battery unconnect, wait and reconnect.

But I guess you can just talk and take it to the dealer for a simple reset process (much like the language change).

Well,I took my car to the local dealer today and they found a way to get my phonebook etc onto my Blue&Me and that was via my phones USB cable, touch wood its working fine now.

ps the reason I took it to the dealer was because the plastic grill where the windscreen washers are housed blew off today and they had to fit a new one, seems the wihdscreen washers were set to low.

I am having trouble with the bluetooth handsfree and my Nokia N73. Previously I had the N70 which I had almost no trouble with. I set up a connection, copied across my contacts to the car and since then evertime I started the engine my phone would automatically connect. When a call came though the stereo cuts out and I answer using my steering wheel controls. It was great! I upgraded to the N73 and at first had trouble getting the bluetooth to work at all on the phone until I performed a firmware update via the Nokia Suite. Now I have connected the N73 to my car, copied my contacts as I did with the N70 and it works fine for 1 or 2 calls. After that when someone calls it cuts out the stereo and I answer it using the controls but although the call is answered I cannot hear anything through the car or phone. There is an option available on the handset saying handset to transfer the call to the handset and stop using the handsfree during that call but this is tempromental an 9 times out of ten doesn't work (it just doesn't do anything). After much experimenting I have found the only way to sort this is to turn the phone off and on and then it only works again for 1 call or so.
Has anone else had any similar problems and does anyone know what I can do to resolve that matter?

PS - Please note that I have the earlier option to Blue and Me with only one USB port which was released before the final version. I don't think this should make a difference because the N70 worked fine but thought I'd give you all the facts.

This may not be what you want to hear Franni2001 but my last phone was a Nokia N73 and it would not work at any cost, the only thing I can suggest is connect your phone up via the USB port (after pairing of course)and then select update, this worked for me with my new Sony K800i, it transferred my phonebook and all handsfree functions work from the car controls, good luck!!!!

ps Don't as your local Fiat dealer as they probably won't have a clue.

Thinking of upgrading my phone to either a Sony Ericsson K800i or a Samsung D900. I notice someone above has had a few probs with their K800i, but has anyone else got either of these phones working ok with B&M?

I have a orange spv c550 it seem to work most of the time but sometimes locks up the stereo and can ony be rectified by turning ignition on and off and restarting bluetooth on the phone does anyone else have this problem if so is there a fix and has anyone copied the phone book from this phone if so how ?????

Thanks, I'll give this a go. Don't think this is so much Fiat's fault as it is Nokia's as my N70 used to work fine 99% of the time.

My Sony Ericsson w850 ( very similar to K800i ) works perfectly with B&M.

Must add that my K800i works fine now that I downloaded everything using the USB cable supplied with the phone.

Owners Manual???

Hi guys,does anybody know if theres a supplement to the owners manual for the blue and me,and mp3 player?My handbook has nothing about either things,which is a shame,as its both of them things i need to learn how to use!!!

If so,can anybody tell me how to use the mp3 and steering controls etc,as im banging my head at the minute:bang:

You should have a separate 'manual' supplied.
you can downlaod it all anyway, for now, at the the start of this thread.

I got nothing with my Blue&Me (only a USB cable). Here is a longer, detailed user guide for Blue&Me. It's for the Lancia Ypsilon, but it's the same as in GP.
