I have a new Alfa Romeo 159 with Blue&Me. I would like an AUX IN so I can connect another media player. I want to know if the device on the following page will do this for me:

blueandme.net/blueandme/index.aspx?brand=fga&lang=it#/news/?id=ID9

Since this is my first post, the forum adminstrators won't allow me to post a url, so you will have to put the www in front of that link for it to work.

Also, I can't direct link to the device - the device is down the page slightly and labelled "Blue&Me: nuova presa USB con ingresso AUX IN" on 17/02/2011.

Since I don't understand Italian, I can't translate fully what it says it does. The english version of this page doesn't list this device.

So does anybody know exactly what this device does? Will it work for what I want to do? Does anybody know where I can get this device?

Any help appreciated.

it doesn't look like a device, it looks like the new version of B&M with an AUX-in port added.

So are you saying that is the entire B&M system? How does it connect to the car? I can only see the USB port in my car (in the glove box).

what i mean is you cannot buy something like that and install it to your car. you have to buy a new car which already comes with that specific kind of blue&me port. :) it's probably new in Italy and looks like rest of the world will have to wait for a while.

Are you sure about that ? Can you please put any pictures you got for it ?

I have a Punto Evo and there's absolutely no AUX port on it.

I sat in one of the new Twinair 500s the other day (new as in the ones that are a standalone model) and noticed that they've changed the Blue&Me system here in the UK now - they've added an Aux-in and changed the look of it. Wonder if there's anyway of getting the new ports etc wired into older cars?
