First problem is my iPod Nano doesn't connect to my B&M without adapter but local dealer says it not needed as I've updated it and the 500 is only 2 years old!?!

Second problem, B&M connects to phone calls, but doesn't read SMS (Blackberry Pearl i think?)

Its very annoying and i get complaints from clients or other people!!

Please help and don't just send a link please?!?!

I can't help re the phone (never used the function myself), but for the music issue, you're far better off buying a cheap memory stick off the net, converting your music to mp3 and whacking them all on that. Far cheaper and easier than fannying about with this and that adaptor, and has the added bonus of being discrete and unappealing to your average thief (IMHO)

Your dealer was wrong. Only the newer Fiat 500 and Punto Evo models work without the adapter. Older models still needs the 5.5 software update and the adapter.

Not all phone supports SMS reading trough Blue&Me. Most of the Sony Ericsson, some Nokias, older Motorola phones and the new phones running Windows Phone 7 works with Blue&Me SMS reading function.

I don't really understand your clients' complain. It's basically impossible to create a system that would work perfectly with all the phones.
