I managed to get ecodrive "recording" working after 2nd try. I did not know that you need to use the same USB-stick that you used for installing eco. Now I prepared my "MP3-stick" with eco, re-installed it and now it say "ECO USB IN" or something like that. Now I need to wait for 5 days for data:-(

I poked mine today, i dont even have a media player on my tomtom at all anymore :/

But, my evo's going in on friday for an S&S problem so i shall bring it up!

Well, i've had no luck getting this Media Player option under my car menu.

I've an email to TomTom which they've replied & are escalating.
I've also emailed FiatUK who have also replied & are escalating.

I'm also going to my dealership tomorrow for a Start&Stop problem, i'm hoping i can ambush the tech guy and see if he knows anything (He's always been helpful in past discussions.)

I've also made a topic on the Evo forum, i'll be regularly posting & updating there, if i get anywhere productive i'll post here though.

Anymore info people can supply would be great.

I've been informed by the dealer, that "newer" Evo's (generally 60 plates) have a different blue&me control unit in them which allows for Media Player functionality on B&M TomTom.

the first 8 month evo's dont have this function

That really sucks, sorry to hear that. There is no way to get an upgrade somehow?

I was told as if my Blue&Me went wrong then i'd probably get a replacement B&M Control Unit that would do the Media Player function.

I'm going to try installing EcoDrive at some point, as this broke my last Blue&Me control unit to the extent i needed 2 new ones, but im pretty sure they fixed the problem for good in the end

I dont know how much a Blue&Me Control Unit would cost, but i'm sure it'll be more than its worth to get an extra menu!
