I spotted this silver N-reg barchetta in a car park in Leicester on Friday (27th Feb). As I walked over to it to take a photo I realised it was a RHD car!

The numberplate had a DTR symbol on it. DTR's website says they converted six of them to RHD, three of which were for export. I wonder if this was one of the remaining three...?

Good spot Mark - how's life in the Algarve???

I have no idea how life is in the Algarve... I presume it's much the same as always... full of brits wearing football T shirts and bright white trainers, drinking carlsberg from the bottle in the street whilst shouting loudly at a local in english to ask where they can get an all day breakfast.

In contrast, life in Lisbon is devoid of such undesirable ambasadors of our great country and the weather is hotting up. Work carries on, but for how long I don't know :(

Car wise, I have seen only 2 Barchettas in the capital, but I have seen 3 Maseratti Quatroportes and an R8 recently, so the Barchetta is as exclusive as these exotica. Mind you, there is a black london cab at the end of my street too. That must have been one hell of a fare!

Lima, I could be joining you in Lisbon with my wee Zippy by June or July... I might be posted there for the next couple of years pending a few decisions. Let us see. So can we be mutually exclusive with our Bs then? ;)

And with the rates of cabs in Finland, I'd reckon I'd be expecting change from a London to Lisbon with the equivilent to what I'm typically handing out on a Saturday night here for a ride home. Then again, I suppose it does help when you can count what you're handing over... (y)

Cool! Nice excuse for a pan-european treck in the B :D I filmed my trip and posted it on YouTube. Don't have a link but if you type GB2P in the search, it'll come up. Some nice stretches of road through spain I must say.

If I am still working here in Lisbon when you come over, let me know and I'll do what I can to help :)

Managed to park up our slightly aged looking blue one next to a nice shiny yellow one at the Nobody Inn near Exeter last month.
And who is the owner of the red one in Ilminster? I drive past it every day; owner also has an alfa ?1.5 sud/gtv and something else Italian. Must get round to posting a FF flyer on it.

Yeah, I see the Red one in ilminster quite a bit. Spotted a blue with rear boot light on the outskirts of Exeter on Sunday. Got quite excited but I was in the BMW so couldn't wave or anything.

I saw a 'P' reg yesterday diving along the A6 at Hazel Grove goig towards Stockport, it was a bluey green colour that I have not seen before. It did look in nice condition, I was in the Jeep so didn't give a blast on the horn as the driver looked rather attractive and I would only have been accused as being a dirty old man.

Hello LittleRedB,
Thanks for the card today. Looking forward to meet.
Greetings,
Frank ( [email protected])

Hi Frank, nice to see you today and nice looking b! You are just around the corner from me - can't believe I have not seen you around before.

I am going to try to arrange a meet at Virginia Waters soon, life is a bit busy at the moment but should be able to sort something out for April-ish....
