Hi guys,

I bought this from the bay the other day. On fitting I found that the pads were the incorrect shape. I am in the process of sending them back at the moment. My advice to you is if you do decide to buy these from the same seller, make sure you get the correct shape pads.

FYI The Fiat Barchetta has two rear and front pad styles.

I couldn't tell from the library picture on Ebay and the seller didn't specify what year they were for. I was in a rush when I purchased these and didn't want anyone else to fall into the same trap.

I found out the same way hehheh :bang:

FYI If you are looking for a great set of brake pads take a look at Ferodo. Great quality but a little £££

I have Ferodo on the back and a set of Green stuff on the front. I did have some Black Diamond semi race pads on the front but I could not keep them in hot enough with everyday driving.

I have greenstuff on the MG, one thing is they make much less brake dust than others I have had in the past (key when you have wires wheels as cleaning them is a bitch). They have been fine on the MGB but I had massive problems to stop them squealing (dont say put brake lube or copper slip on the back - I did it, it didnt cure it!). Chamfering the edges of the pads seems to have cured the squeal now. I find them fine for eveyday and brilliant when warm, the tyres certainly give out before the brakes do but then again, the tyres are way overdue replacement!!

I was quite busy and didn't have time.

The items I bought were quality parts on par with OE, considering my car is standard I don't need to waste money on improving braking performance.

You live and learn :D

How are you finding the Greenstuff pads? I've heard mixed reviews.

I go for a 30 min blast out in the countryside when its dry and I have no problems with them overheating or anything like that, so for everyday kind of driving the Green stuff are fine.

I agree with Topher, the pads don't give off that much dust over OEM pads so that's a plus.

Fair do's. I use mine as a daily driver so I will be able to report on quality issues - even though there isn't any.
