Technical xenon HID

My old man got some HID's for his coupe and driving that thing at night is ap leasure nowadays.. might sound like an over exaggeration but the difference is apparent..!

Any idea about the highbeam HID? anyone...?

HID's take a couple of seconds to get up to temperature so I would not suggest fitting them to main beams - I would stick a couple of PIAA 100w bulbs in...........and before you all go off on one I know that they are not legal, so only put them in if you are planning on using your high beam on a private road! ;)

HID bulbs will focus better and not worse than standard bulbs because the source of light is smaller. as long as beams are properly set, no problem. if they are too high, they will really **** off people.
i fitted HID on my motorbike. now i cant carry a passenger at night, even pedestrians complain because of my lights :-D

Nothing wrong with HID's in the B on the dip side as it has projector lens that can handle the beam. Get it properly adjusted and you won't dazzle anybody, even though they are illegal in UK but legal in most of the rest of Europe.

Working solution is HID's in the dipped and 100W (illegal) in the mains. means you can drive fast on unlit roads without vanishing into the abyss..
