............Bristol Italian Auto Moto Festival on April the 26th???

I know that this event has been publicised in the events section of the forum and has been mentioned in a couple of other threads but I thought I would start one for b owners!

I contacted the organisers and have arranged for a permit to take part, fingers crossed I should be able to get LRB onto the FIAT featured stand!!

I think someone has been in contact to try and arrange a permit but was told that there were no more Barchetta's required for the event. The events organised has been in contact with me to clarify what he meant, there are no more Barchetta's required for the FIAT stand however he is happy for more Barchetta's to attend, so if you are interested get in contact by eMailing your contact details and details of your car to [email protected] or call 0117 947 5814!

I thought that this would be a good opportunity for us all to get together, look over the cars, swap war stories and grab lunch! Let me know what you think..........?

when my hubby rang he didnt ask for the fiat stand, he just said we wanted to come for the show. thats when he said he had enough b's do you think its worth me asking again dont want to be a nag!!!!

Definitely worth asking again, he told me that he did not mean no other b's could attend, just that he had 5 for the stand...........

just spoke to the nice man who is very stressed poor guy.and i'm in not on fiat stand just street parking with the with rest of the car THANK GOODNESS.
so will see everyone there.

hope an orange b will be there!!!

Def fancy coming along to this, though if we are all parked in different places around the venue it will be harder to see everyone's B, so maybe could we all try and park somewhere together? If anyone knows where might be a good place . . .

Hi, they usually keep all of the car types together, so if they know there are 10 b's coming there will be a street/area of a street set aside for them - looking at past events they always seem to keep models models together!

if there is a few going is it an idea to meet up somewhere and convoy the last bit together.

how about this place shell garage bs2 9lu at the end of M32?
need to be there at show by 10am, not bad for me no fun for those who got a long drive.

Sounds like a good idea, although I may aim to get there early as the chap organising the event is looking for people to help marshal the cars in first thing..........

Not sure of my shifts yet as they seem to be changing daily but if I can make it I'll be there.

Na don't fancy driving a ford on my day off and the multijet is just as quick as the focus estates we use.

Customs n excise nowt to do with us

I fancy the Bristol event but it's a bit early to be certain I can make it. Do we need to register or can we just turn up?

This is a long way for me but looks great. I'm wondering if there are any cheap b and bs so could make a weekend of it. Does anyone know of any?

I think that you need to register if you want to park on street and take part in the event, if you want to turn up and park in a car park its free to wander around. Call for the pass and if you don't make it by 10.00 just park up in a car park and wander along to find us...........

I have never stayed in Bristol but I have used this site in the past to find B & B's.......usually takes a few calls to track one down but its never failed to turn up the good so far.........

Just a thought but why not stay in Bath and make a weekend of it, not that far from Bristol and luvvvly place to stay!!

Good call LRB, Bath is a great place to base yourself for the weekend. Some nice roads round there too. When I bought my B in Cardiff, I stayed at my brother's in Bristol for an extra day or two. First time I took the roof down was tearing round the countryside between Bath and Bristol. Great memories

As I said my brother's living there so I might stay at his and come along to this motor show too. Will almost certainly just park on the street and have a wander rather than putting my scruffy old B on display
