Has anyone succeeded in pulling out those pesky dents along the rear edge of the boot lid - you know, the ones from being pushed down too hard?

There is no way on Earth that Dentmaster could remove the dents you refer to:mad:
The bootlid in that area is way too thick, it is around 3 layers thick there what with the the inner and outer skins meeting. My red one has the same problem.Afraid it will be a case of filling and priming etc courtesy of your local bodyshop:(

Mine is also full of "finger prints" or should i say "finger STAMPS" :p
I m hopping that when i do a full respray they will make a hard underlayer that will help resist dents cause my car is so easy to dent everywhere.
A quick fix place like chips away should be able to fix it i guess but as soon as you shut the lid without being carefull you will make a new "history mark" :)

I had most of my dent removed - like others said that area is particularly thick, so don't expect 100% removal..

what you need is a boot thats off a 1999 or newer model, as the boot was upgraded because of the dent issue and made stronger. Only problem is the boot was changed again adding the extra brake light in 2001.:yuck:

The update worked as my 1999 does not have a single finger dent.

Ah you see, this is where you are all wrong about the third brake light because it makes shutting the boot that much easier, you just use the light to shut the boot instead of pushing down on the boot itself:D and I still think it looks cool:slayer:

one might ask how you know that "Its like a large red zit on the backside of a lapdancer."!!!

Best lapdancers (actually table) are in Doll House on the Reeperbahn (y). Didn't see any zits :).

Ja, I'm keeping an eye on eBay.de
