Mine's had that warning triangle and dashboard error message for years. I've never bothered to do anything about it for 2 reasons 1) When reversing with a trailer hooked up the constant warning tone was incredibly annoying and distracting and 2) I look behind myself when going backwards.

I do find them useful. I usually think it's longer than it actually is, so it allows me to park tighter than I could without if necessary.

I've always thought front sensors an admission of stupidity, but I'll admit I don't have a clue where the front corners of the Croma are.

Of all the things a modern day car should have- front and rear parking sensors are the most needed. The front corners of the car are just as important as the back ones , as witnessed by my front passenger side bumper corner which looks as if its had its ears boxed!!!:p.
Having to "feel" for for where your front corners are when reverse parking into a space is fraught with embarrassment
