Mine's had that warning triangle and dashboard error message for years. I've never bothered to do anything about it for 2 reasons 1) When reversing with a trailer hooked up the constant warning tone was incredibly annoying and distracting and 2) I look behind myself when going backwards.

I do find them useful. I usually think it's longer than it actually is, so it allows me to park tighter than I could without if necessary.

I've always thought front sensors an admission of stupidity, but I'll admit I don't have a clue where the front corners of the Croma are.

mrs daves punto beeps to let you know its in reverse, a few times ive only just remembered in time that the beep isnt going to get faster to let me know where the the fence is, she has no sensors

Of all the things a modern day car should have- front and rear parking sensors are the most needed. The front corners of the car are just as important as the back ones , as witnessed by my front passenger side bumper corner which looks as if its had its ears boxed!!!.
Having to "feel" for for where your front corners are when reverse parking into a space is fraught with embarrassment
