not sure if my 2011 has one? looked under car cant see one.... I presume you should be able to see it :idea:An undertray lots of cars have these, they help to keep the cr.p from flying up from the road simple as that. For what they are, they are usually quite expensive.
I shall assume my car had one at some point I’ve just ordered one and the fixings hopefully it’s an easy installationI have one on my 2013 0.9 twinair. !0, or 9 in my case, bolts to undo. Keeps the bottom clean !
Looking at it ... it will cover the sump! Yeah tell me! Got to mine just in time rubbed down and paintedDoes it cover the sump? The most vulnerable and rust prone part? Or does it poke through the cut out.
I tend to use it on every bolt I’ve put back in! Just in caseHINT: Use copper slip grease or similar on the bolts when fitting as the have a tendencey to seize & snap.
Experience tells me that
Well I say! My car .. going out without her knickers on! ? I’ve actually just ordered a full cover (covers sump too) powder coated metal & comes with fixingsTo a car, not having an undertray is the equivalent of going out with no knickers on .
The Romans summed this up in four words: "Semper ubi, sub ubi".
My old Renault 5 had one; it was as useful for keeping the driveway clean as it was useful for keeping the engine clean, as the corrugated depressions in it did a fine job of catching any tiny oil weeps. It was held on by four bolts and only took a couple of minutes to remove (you could do it without lifting the car, at a pinch). Sadly many franchised dealers couldn't be bothered to refit them after servicing and many were soon lost.
I still had mine, in good order, when I sold the car after 13 years & 220,000 miles.

I’m actually quite excited to fit it! Has a diagram of under car showing where it screws into too ... bonus!
I am so jealous of your sumpLinky?
Rasputin, the Younger Mrs S' Pop paid the price for running around with his danglings dangling. The sump was punctured by something and previous owner block thought that MIG welding it was going to sort it.. Ahhhh
New sump (and what a PITA that was.. exhaust manifold-off job) has fixed it and it looks pretty saucy under there.. but I'm keen to keep it clean.

They are also available in 2mm steel (from Romania), full cover w/o the gap in the middle.

Might require stronger springs, though
When you buy plastic, check it is PE, more elastic than ABS.
Yup ... wasn’t keen on spending that much but I’m sure it will do it’s job!Aye that’s the metal one I was on about for £153.

And at least the sump will be covered!
your lucky my sump was rusteeeee! its been cleaned and painted now.. I always thought it was odd that you could see the floor below my engine but I didn't know any better! im still learningI have plenty of time on my hands and fabrication of a guard for my daily driver will be my next project. My Coupe already has one. Both cars have alloy sumps which is very handy as well.
