You can get an Abarth 595c starting at £19k that has 165hp and a big turbo. Still leaving you a couple of grand for options, even then I think this is too much for such a small car that doesn’t offer much in the way of luxury or practicality.

If you don’t have a family you can get a 695 Rivale, or the 0.9 105 500 Riva that has good comfort and just fold down the seats for great practicality.

Well actually you can’t buy any new twin air cars here in the uk the engine has been crossed off the list. As of now pretty much the only engine option is the 1.0 hybrid if you want a manual gearbox or the 1.2 non hybrid if you want an auto gearbox.

A new abarth 695 is considerably more than £21k

I forgot they killed the Twinair. Who at FIAT thought [emoji189] “hmmm we should only give people the weak engines, they won’t mind, right?” WRONG, the only people with a 1.2 are people with the base model Pop with no options.

I believed in essence european laws and fiat telling lies about economy figures was the nail in the coffin of the twinair, it wasn’t as fuel efficient or as CO2 friendly as they claimed.

Yeah, my moms 500 1.4 Pop with the 6AT should get the 28mpg EPA claimed figure, it gets 11-22. I heard it’s a common problem with the 1.4 MA.
