General How is do companies find it to get a passenger door glass

Had my passenger door window smashed today
By a lawn mower throwing a stone into it

Auto glass and two other companies none can get me the glass until Monday or Wednesday next week ?

Problem is I'm supposed to be driving home 100 miles in the morning

some transparent polythene and duct tape maybe? together with a steady cruising speed? just think of the fuel savings!

Got no Duct tape.....how do you get by in life without Duct tape...

Only need three things in your toolkit
1. Duct Tape- for items that are moving when they shouldn't
2. WD40- for items that are not moving when they should.
3. A Hammer- for 'adjusting' anything.

Seriously though you could get a roll of kitchen cling film and with the door open completely wrap the window frame and door and then shut the door as a 'get you home'

Aye, what can I say, I'm with you Texas. As I say it's only easy if you know the answer, but, not exactly too difficult to find a remedy.

Four things, you forgot cable ties, you need them after you've "adjusted" things.

The film they wrap flowers in is ideal, it’s strong and you can see through it. Go to a florists. Ideal temporary fix.
