Greetings,
My wife has a Fiat 500 TwinAir from 2012, and the only issue we really have with it, is that in sunny light, its hard to tell if the AC is on or off. The "snowflake" does not differ in color, with the led on or of.
Så my question, is there any mods for this, if its just a LED that needs changing i could do that.
Does any one know?

Just out of interest do you have the analogue dials or the digital (button) climate controls?

The ac snowflake can be hard to see on the analogy control in direct sunlight, I cup my hand over it to see if needed. If you think that the ac isn't operating (no cold air), have a look under the bonnet and check if the centre of the compressor is spinning (can be tricky to see under the twinair plastic engine cover) and the electric radiator fan is operating.

Yes I have the same issue and it’s annoying when it gets left on when you don’t want it. It seems to get left on when it’s returned from loan by the other half?I’ve not seen any other comments on it regarding any options on upgrading the light as it may be a pain being in the switch.
Maybe add another light somewhere? I just tend to take a close look at it when I start off on a trip nowadays. It’s a lot of work for a workaround I guess

If it's a led lighting a ring underneath replace with a ultra bright one or more? However I've never turned off the a.c. on any of my cars in the last 36 years and it's never failed.

I'm not 100% sure where the light is for it live looked myself for this reason before it seems to be deeper in the control box itself

I don't know, but wondered if there was a clear plastic ring underneath lit by a single led such that it lights up in any position when(the knob is) turned a cheap way to do it but not very good at transmitting light?
