I am struggling to understand how to link some of the services to my cars uConnect head unit.

I have downloaded the app to my phone and can see all the usual information such as mileage, fluid and fuel levels etc. However, other than TuneIn radio, I can not access any of the other services (Deezer etc) as the app throws up errors when trying to connect to them.

Just wondering whether anyone else can use Deezer or whether they too can't connect.

I've managed to figure out the Deezer issue (most days anyway!).. I think the secret is in connecting everything in the phone app, signing into Deezer through the connect app etc before you start the engine... Then you can fast forward and search for music using the touchscreen. Hope this helps!

Sadly, what ever I try it doesn't want to play ball. When I click on the link to connect Deezer on my iPhone, the App just reports that "You must enter a valid redirect_uri"

Hmm strange... Have you tried disconnecting the battery then reconnecting?

I had trouble connecting my iPhone with the uconnect services such as deeza and the like but it's all working fine now, I even have the system reading out text messages which is a total surprise. I must admit the majority of the time my phone is connected via USB though.

I read that that Fiat is meant to be rolling out carplay in all it's models this year

I think the whole system is a joke, as even when you log onto the web page and try to link the accounts it doesn't work. Also the facility to invite others allowing them to connect to the services of the car with their phone - such as your partner does not work either

Yes it's absolute nonsense, these systems badly need to be standardised across all cars and devices and above all work properly and intuitively

Called the Fiat uConnect Live helpline and they seem to have pulled a lever, or hit a switch in their engineering toolkit and done something, as everything now appears to work.
