Has anyone fitted a Colombo Bariani Performance Camshaft on a 1,2 8V and what was the experience?

My current project is to add a CB Road Medium Cam alongside a complete Supersprint exhaust w. race Cat and a K&N induction kit and then finish off with a Unichip Piggyback Computer remap to get it all in sync.

Sure is.. ;-)

But as the prices for parts are not taxed anything near what the car is here in Denmark (180%) it's actually quiet cheap to upgrade in comparison..

And also great fun getting it right..;-)

I'd forget the unichip and go for something like the DET3. Certainly forget the K&N.

Is the car MPI or SPI?

40mm throttles bodies are available.

Most of the "real" knowledge of tuning these engines is on the Cinq/Sei section.

Depending on local regulations (etc) a 1.4 16v may be the cheaper way to go: With an aftermarket ECU, decent induction and exhaust, they'll put out 110bhp on stock internals.

Great input..
But what is MPI /SPI...
and from what car is the 40mm taken from or available at?

MPI = 4 injectors, SPI = 1 injector (to keep it simple). Punto folk talk of cam sensor and non-cam sensor engines but the MPI Punto 75 engine had no cam sensor.

There's a guy on the Cinq/Sei section who bores them out, fits new butterflies, etc.
