Thank you for all the advice. I will be phoning fiat direct this morning and will update you. Just don't understand why I will be waiting until September while later orders are coming through.
 
Orders don't necessarily get built in the order they were ordered, but something is wrong here and as i said, calling Fiat is the best option.

Just got an update from my dealer...

the reason there has been a delay is Fiat have run out of
the Titanium dashboard inserts , this issue is being rectified by fiat by
finding a different supplier.

This will not effect your car , your car is at status 13 , which means it is
just waiting for a confirmed build date.

I will let you know when it moves to status 16 ( confirmed build date )

Any news from your side?

You sure they're not unobtantium rather than titanium? :p

Hi.
I have spoken to fiat this morning who told me they were less than impressed with my waiting time and the fact that the dealer hasn't kept me informed throughout. If what I had been told were true stage 20 beginning of may I would have received the car by now :/.
As I ordered early apparently I should have missed the problems they are now having she said "something has gone wrong with your order, the dealers side". I don't know if that is correct.
They apologised several times and will be giving me a call back. So we shall wait and see.

Yeah, 20 to you is usually a month or so, perhaps 6 months at the very worst if you life in the Scottish highlands and they're waiting for other cars to fill the delivery truck up with.
 
The car may have gone status 20 and back to status 16 again it does happen.
I have 500 S orders that have been status 16 for 5 weeks..
The issue is with the dash, you will probably get offered an electroclash grey dash.
 
I ordered my 500S the first week of April. I have been told that It will be delivered to dealer this week and i should take delivery of it next week.
 
When the car gets to the dealership what do they have to do to the car before you get it?

Pre delivery inspection, a safety check of sorts, remove shipping plastics & grease etc, clean, fit number plates, check oil & coolant levels...

Hello! Just had a call from fiat my case is with the senior executives I should have an update from them in the next 48hrs.

I hope you get your car soon but I would highlight to them how unhelpful the dealer has been.

Thank you. I have I slated the dealer while they took notes haha!
I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to wait I am awaiting a start date for a new job :/.
