All,

Looking for a bit of help, Our 500 (1.4 Lounge) is having some problems, the outside temp gauge is constantly reading really low temperatures, like -14deg.......(which is a bit cold, even for Scotland).
Also, when adjusting the climate control it only seems to blow out warm air.
Anyone had any similar problems with their car?

Thanks

check the multiplug in the door mirror arm (the cover unclips) clean the terminals and see what happens its just a thermasisitor so any damp / corrosion at the plug can cause silly readings

Does anybody know which direction the door mirror arm cover unclips?

push it inwards first then apply force trying to 'push' not 'pull' it out so push it upwards and it will come out. you need to apply quite a bit of force don't worry it wont break!

Thanks but I finally managed to take it off earlier although it was almost dark when I did it so I'll try out what Andy Monty has advised me to do in the morning. :)

Just for confirmation, do I disconnect the white connectors and clean them?
