Hi

My 500 is now due for second service and bar 'fabulously designed' washer wiper nozzles I haven't had any problems - apart from creaky seats. Both of front seats now creak. Please no jokes about humongous pregnant women being the cause :). I have searched the threads about it and there seems to be two solutions: WD40 or go to dealers who might (or not) change the seats - which might (or not) cure the problem... My issue is that I do not want this to drag beyond end Feb as I'm expecting the baby in March and won't have time... Oh, the baby brain and this rambling post! Sorry everyone, any suggestions on the next course of action?

Thanks for the heads-up guys, since picking my car up I hadn't noticed this before maybe because I've been playing with the interscope. Today I was listening to the radio on low and heard the creaking. Was going mad until I found the source then realised it was the passenger seat, at least I know what to do now. (y)

I had this with my 500 just before my 1st years service, explained it to the garage and it took 4 hours longer than stated and 2 further phone calls while i was waiting in the city to collect to discover the seat frame needed lubricating (This was my suggestion) easy fix thou so good luck & i hope its solved quicker!

Mine did this too, do you have leather? Only cure i found was to lower the seat until it can't go any lower. It creaks from side to side, so the less room there is for it to move, the less it will move/creak! Worth a try? :)

Not really a cure, more of a workaround. Have you tried asking the dealer the next time the car is in for a service (or similar)
