Do you know who they sold the fourth one to?

I thought Peroduos (or whatever they're called) start at £4500 though? If the govt. hadn't insisted importers/manufactures stump up a £1000 reduction we could have bought a brand new car for £2500! They've got to be worth considering at that price, if only to keep our 500s tucked away in bad weather :)

Is it my imagination, or does the Mito "look kinda funny"? It looks good from some angles, but really odd from the rear, and some sections look like they're from a larger car. Bit of a mish-mash??

Have you seen a Mito in real life? As long as the owner hasn't gone for a garish colour and light surround combo they tend not to look as weird in the metal.

Personally if I could have justified the extra fuel and insurance I'd have waited for the multiair engined Mito's to come out and I would have waited for a 165bhp one with a DDCT box.

Apart from James May - but he drives a Panda, so must be a bit jealous!

Well I think James may is a bit of a purist and tbh if you're looking for soemthing as close as possible to the original 500 the Panda is probably the closest thing.

They must have done.

You had 3 and there is one in Gloucester, so they sold at least 4 :p
My first one ended up looking like this before/after (guess which is which!) What a beast!

All Perodua's are based on old Daihatsu's hence reliability etc. Oh and the Myvvi seen on Top Gear is based on the Daihatsu Sirion (Daihatsu Boon as it's known in Japan) which my Mum has (see pic) and it's a very good car, unbelievable rear leg room! The new Subaru Justy is also based on the Sirion.

Having driven the quicker Mitos & several GPs I would probably go for a GP Sporting over a Mito. They are very similar to drive (as you might expect) but the GP seems to give better value for money...

But, I might not.... ;)

Funnily enough I'm off to London in mine next Saturday, might make a detour to Notting Hill now :)
