Where? How? When?

Oh it is exciting!! Cant wait for mine...even though its not here till end of March...

well when I checked with the dealer yesterday it was a status 30 so hoping not long now!?

I still say goodnight to mine as I lock him in the garage every night, and that's after 12month.

It's not nice to lock your wife in the garage on your 1st anniversary!!!!:D

So will date of first reg on doc's be before 1st March

This legal out of interest. Once saw a car out and about 3 days before it's pre-fix was registerable :p Naughty

It's just the same as the other cars that will be leaving the dealers on the 1st. Only this one gets to spend it's last few days before hitting the roads in a nice garage rather than round the back of a dealers showroom.

^^What he said.

Only 1hr 23mins before we can drive it (I stupidly said "from 11am" to the insurance company).

Oh and get this - the wife wanted to take it to her hairdresser's appt at midday today. Put it in a public car park on the first day?? Nooooooooooo wayyyyyy.

Suffice to say we will mostly be dropping her off...

40 minutes to go MrBrown2.... you lucky thing.... Get mine 10am tomorrow and will be spending a night staring at the ceiling tonight like an 8yr old waiting for santa to fall through the roof.

Hope it exceeds your expectations.

Have fun.

haha im with you on that one - picking up my abarth 500 on wednesday, and doing my weekly shop on tuesday for the same reasons!!

flawed logic of course, we can only put off the inevitability of public car parks and the marks that will surely follow. just that new car thing though isnt it - at least keep it pristine for a week or two :)

Thing is, this feeling of wanting to keep it pristine never seems to wear off with the 500! I still park off in the corner on my own in car parks... but no matter where you park, when you come back someone has always come and stuck their shed next to you. Ive had this times when Ive been sat in the car, loads of empty spaces around but they have to come and park next to me. I think that subconsciously they want to be cool by association.

yes of course we all want them to look new forever, but i think reality sinks in at some point - as you say, there is always an idiot who will park next to you and swing their doors wide open when you've popped out :(

still, musnt grumble - have to have the car in the first place to be in that situation.

Well, if it had caught fire...obviously the fire would have started after 11am;)

Anyway, it's out of the garage and on the drive. Too tired to drive it at the moment as I've just been giving a tent a trial erection in the garden - as you can imagine, large erections take a lot of energy out of you...

I can't see anything in that statement that could possibly have a double entendre ;) Can You Notts?
