Hi all, spoke to my dealer this morning and he said my car will ready to collect sometime in may. I ordered it 21st march (just under 5 weeks ago) and was originally told it wouldnt be here till June as it was a factory order. He said he cannot give me a definate date on when it will be here but it will be may time.

Does Fiat release information to the dealerships of which month the car will be available then later release exact dates or do you think my dealer is just telling me May to shut me up, lol, i havent badgered him at all and this is the first time ive spoken to him since ordering the car.

In my head im telling myself it will still be here in June as i dont want to get my hopes up

Im just very skeptical, with all these waiting lists and delayed cars, surely im not blessed enough for mine to arrive early. I wonder if waiting times are creeping down slightly.

My 500 Sport was ordered on 2nd February, a factory order and I'm still waiting.

12 weeks this week to date.

Ummm you've got me thinking now.....will pop into my dealers later & chase our baby up. It is meant to be in the UK early May but its funny, I've been fine & patient upto now but with around a month to go that's all gone out the window. I am now sooooooo fed up with waiting :bang:.

do you have a delivery date Yoshi, when did you order? They havent give me a precise date, but I think the whole month of may is a bit vague.

Im 11 weeks waiting tommorow... so Yoshi, youre in the same boat, apart from the fact mines still status 10

I havent had any status codes regarding my car at all, just that it will be here sometime in may. I will believe it when I see it

My sis got hers around the time they said, also the GFs Bravo came within a week or so of their predicted delivery so they arent too bad (that was Wentane in Stockton)

Can't complain about the service, and i got the best trade in deal on my car.
Would recommend them - GO FOR IT! Ooh, I'm getting excited again....

yeah ive heard very good reports about wentane, supposed to be very good. I personally wasnt very impressed upon my visit, i didnt go as far as getting a full quote from them, well should i say they never got back to me with part ex price for my car so i decided to order from another dealership which is 40 miles away, lol.

Got the impression they couldnt be bothered with me to be honest, lol

Right, been into vospers earlier and my car is satus 20 awaiting shipment , so approx 4 weeks and I'll be a new 500 owner :woot:. While I was in the dealers I did spend a few more pennies on our pending baby. I asked them to fit the chrome "a" bar while pdi'ing it. Can't wait I've never been this excited about a car before.

We reordered our sport around the 24th of feb so I think ours is slightly ahead of schedule.

Last update was on 19th March and 500 was at status 20.

I would chase it up!!!

Your dealer can look it up (as mine did earlier). I would of thought yours is near or at the dealers by now.

Maybe, but I like to wait for the BIG NEWS e-mail, if you can see where this is going. Even if it is taking a while.

status 20 is built... not waiting shipment. I would say about another 2 or 3 weeks yet.

That status was given to him on the 19th of march.....over a month ago so would of thought (or in my example hoped) it would be a darn sight closer than 2/3 weeks away.
