Baerius sounds great the red with ivory interior is stunning it really is, Linda will go for the azure blue which i really like as well, she fancies chrome mirrors you certainly specced it up eh :D I agree with you I would never have entertained a Fiat before the 500 no way with their previous reputation, have you ordered chrome mirrors factory fitted? if you have you might want to cancel that and just buy them after from the dealer, they are the same price, that way you will get the standard body coloured mirrors as well if they are factory fitted you won't get them, so if the chrome were damaged you could replace with the body coloured ones :D

Thanks for that...I did consider that option with the wing mirrors BUT.,... after hearing alot about booking times and quality of work I decided that I'd rather have the heating elements and mirror servos properly wired and working at the factory than dealer fitted and something going wrong....I might be presumptious but for me it's a question of peace of mind really.

But yeah, the down side is if they get damaged then I've got no back up!!

:bang:Awww Damn! Of course....they ARE clip ons!!!! Just did a frenzied look through the brochure....code 4RR Chromed Wing Mirror COVERS!!!!!:bang:

LOL...might have to bother my dealer after all...

Thought they would have to remove the whole mirror unit and replace with a chrome one DOH!!!!

O well... he'll huff and puff and then he'll have to change the order.
..
thanks for that!!!:D

And VERY VERY excited!!!

It's a shame the vintage leather isn't available in Sport, as that would be my choice. I definitely want the vintage leather, but I also want the Sport seats (apparently the normal seats don't offer much support) which is better? Red (which does seem a wee bit garish sport seats or Lounge in vintage (which are just stunning)? I guess i'll have to pop into a Fiat dealership in the half term to see if I can compare the seats.

The red leather is not a bright or garish shade at all and goes extremely well with the Pasadoble red exterior. Motorvogue in Northampton have that combo in their showroom on a Sport and the dealers pathetically small colour swatch for the leather colour is very accurate for the red. The swatch for the vintage though looks more like a chocolate colour and nothing like these pics which look great IMHO. I may have to think about ordering a second 500 in Funk white with Vintage leather and do a trade in around September with my Bossa Nova/red one :D

Funk white with vintage leather, that's my order.:D

Great choice. It's what I wanted when I ordered the car back in September but I got the call in December saying production was going to be indefinitely delayed and switched to Bossa Nova white instead. I'm sorely tempted to stick another order in now but am going to wait until my car arrives and I've had a few weeks driving it before deciding whether to go for another 1.4 Lounge or try to get an order in for an Abarth though that is not easy as no one seems to know who or where the rumoured 4 UK Abarth dealers will be.

I would imagine the info regarding the Arbath and dealerships will gather pace next month following the formal launch, hopefully at the Geneva Motor Show.
