Found this chunk of weatherstripping-like material laying at the bottom of the door shell while swapping out my hinge pins today. Any idea what it is or where it lives?
It is a knackered piece of window channelling. The window goes into the grooved part and the non-grooved side fits into the chanel in the door and the window runners. You do not require it!

Ah ok thanks guys. I figured it was window related with the channel, but I couldn’t see a natural place for it to go. One of these days I’ll replace the jumpy regulator (and address it I suppose), but today is not that day.
