I've just purchased the new tyres and the shop mentioned they might not be able to balance it since it wouldn't fit on their machine, and they don't have the adaptor.

I know the balancing question has been raised a few times on this forum, but my question is.. can I mount the tyres and skip balancing?

P.S. I won't be driving the car 'fast' anyways

My wheels are the original fiat 500 wheels.

Just to confirm, the ways to balance the wheels are:
- using universal adaptor, or;
- static balance
Is that correct?

Thanks!

Hi
If you live anywhere near me I have the adapter and balance them for free.
But I live in Kent

I've got standard wheels and tyres....never balanced them and was at 63.3mph today with no obvious problems.[emoji3]

Below 60mph you probably won't notice a difference.It's safer to have them balanced.
