I'm asking a lot of questions, sorry about that!

As I become more experienced hopefully I'll pay the group back and add some value!

The car I have didn't come with a tool-kit, jack or wheel nut wrench. I've replicated what's in the standard tool-kit (that thread was very helpful), got hold of a wheel nut wrench, but the jack is a tough one.

I have a standard scissor jack kicking around which I have put in the boot, but can someone tell me where the jacking points are on the chassis? They're usually pretty obvious to find on the sills of most cars, not so much in the 500!

It lifts both wheels off the ground.

PS. Obviously only suited to the specific Fiat jack. A scissor jack would need thinking about but there are lifting points just behind the front wheelarch and just in front of the rear wheelarch which might be used if the floor is in good condition. I prefer to use a lightweight trolley jack; at the front that can go under the centre of the spring with a wooden block for packing. I get a firm seating on the swinging arm of the suspension when messing with the rear, using a thinner block to avoid damage.

Great, thanks for the advice.

I don't have the Fiat jack, but I think the points behind and in front of the front and rear wheel arches will be OK, as the car's floor is very solid. I'll put some wood in the boot as well to protect the car.
