Technical New Guy, How do I find a thread to a specific question?

First off My car is a 76 spider 124. I just got the car and am Trying to do some trouble shooting. From what I`ve been reading so far the problems I`m having seem to be common, #1 the Ignition switch. I know this has probably been discussed many times but I have no idea how to locate past discussions regarding this. I took it apart and cleaned it up. The accessories work but the starter wont even click. The previous owner said he took the started out and had it checked and it was fine.So I guess my first question would be how can I Bypass the switch? can I jump the solenoid?
#2 Fuel pump Someone had an electronic fuel pump installed at one point but now all there is are wires dangling in the trunk. I have a new in line type that would probably work. Do I need to know anything specific.
Last but not least Are there any wiring diagrams out there that are easy to read? I just want to trace down wiring issues.
Well there it is any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is SEARCH and ADVANCED SEARCH

ON ADVACED you can look for a term..
i.e. points gap

In just one forum section..
Classic spider / uno / marea etc

Well the engine is junk. I really got taken on this deal. Been searching everywhere and can`t find an engine nor can I find any advice on an easy engine swap (including this forum) Really getting frustrated. Have no Idea what I`m going to do with this car now. Does anybody sell re manufactured motors for a 124 sport spider 1800? I`m thinking NO!

What is wrong with your engine?

Guy Croft is the man when it comes to doing these engines.

An engine swap is quite easy if you have the equipment. On your side of the pond any rear wheel drive 4 pot will be worth a measure. A small block might fit too, that would be interesting.

I've being doing a bit of research.

Small block width is an issue and will require extra fab.

205 Buick should be easier.

Honda S2000 is perfect.
