Rear offside driveshaft has a few millimeters of movement.
I'm getting a clonking noise when driving over a rough surface, potholes etc.
I fitted new shock absorbers last week thinking that may be the cause of the noise but it wasn't (they needed changing anyway).
When I grab hold of the rear offside driveshaft, I can move it left and right a few millimeters, and it makes a metallic clonk at each end of the movement, there is also a little up and down movement to it at the hub end.
I'm assuming that it is splined at the dif end of the shaft and the cure would be a new hub. Is this correct?
Where might I get one?
Thanks
