I think a few of us have seen the car since it's unfortunate demise. Last time I saw Blue earlier this year, it was looking sorry for it's self in the corner of a lock up in Liverpool, with no head on the engine and a fooking great hole in a piston and very nice new wheels that fouled the bodywork but at least it was with a gaggle of other cento's all equally well shagged, so not alone

It will live again. Eventually. Injection of money required. The head is actually on Blue2 (as it as when it met the give way sign). And the 15s only foul the rear arches (which need an itsy bitsy bit of welding) and only a little at that, although I've still to do the pull the springs off and really test it test.
Looks like Santa is sending me another busted Cinq for Xmas, but more on that later................

Still sat there. Too skint to even tax and insure one of the other cars! Latest plot is pop in a 1.4 16v then (ah ha!) turbo it (recon I can get quality US pistons and rods for less than the cost of a 1.4 16v tub).
Should of got the Carrillo rods in classifieds a few days ago for a 1.4 16v.

If carillo kept the draings, the next lot should be cheaper! You could always get GC to design them and source elsewhere -- pistons, that is. Or get the forgings, machine yourself!
