At first sight, it's rather difficult to answer your question, as several versions of engines have been fitted to Uno's. Petrol and diesel engines have been fitted, either turbocharged or atmospheric. Petrol engines may be
FIRE 998, as fitted to some Autobianchi and Lancia Y 10 (FIRE means Fully Integrated Robotized Engine)
OHC engines, from 1,100 to 1,500 cc petrol, carburator
OHC engines turbocharged, petrol, 1,300 or 1,500 cc
Diesel engines, either 1,400 or 1,700 cc
There are turbocharged diesel versions.
The turbocharged Uno have a more complete instrument panel, including rev counter, water temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and turbo pressure gauge.
However, the simplest plan is to open the hood of your car and to look at the cylinder block, which should bear an identification label, or a serial number, engraved on the block itself. From this serial number, it is easy to identify the engine and its capacity
