Hi All
I have a major problem. I have a 1100 Uno and when she reaches operating temperature the oil light comes on. the motor has been refreshed. When problem arose I replaced oil sensor oil filter and oil pump and it still does the same. I have put in 10w60 oil to try and bring pressure up. when cold she idles at 100kpa oil pressure. I haven't checked warm as I don't want to cause any further damage to the motor. Is there anyone with any bright ideas.

I'm also in Kraaifontein.

I had the same problem and an engine rebuild fixed it, the mechanic said it was caused by worn barrings.

I hope your problem is something simpler!

I did refresh the engine but have had failure on one or two parts from the supplier. Main Bearings could be the third. Gonna pop the motor and have a look. will keep up to date

Well would you believe it. Main bearing failure. Gonna redo whole motor now. Low pressure buggered up quite a lot

Thanks man. Gave spares in this morning. Doing everything. Luckily i do the mechanics myself so I save some bucks there
