i got the pdf version, but halfords have one in, hummm halfords whats it good for now....being a library :p hehe

thanks louie, im definately going to have to solder some more length of wire to the ones on the tacho. will be safe enuf to solder and tape up right?
as for the power and lights, where can i get power from without using my HU, and where do i get the lights wires?

charlie

emailed them.....havent emailed me back, so im just going to do it myself. red and black - positive and negative. orange and white - pos neg for lights. green for the coil. sound about right guys!?!?!

what wire shall i use to extend the peices already on? same thickness?

charlie

Yeah, the same or similar thickness. Doesn't matter greatly because it's all low current stuff.

My tacho in the uno only had four wires - red (switch power), black (earth - duh), white (illumination) and green (source from coil).

I just tapped into the green wire on the coil. I'm gonna sell it now, the factory tach in the turbo dash will do just what I need it to :)

can i tap in to the lights just behind the steering column?

i still need some where for power to come from!!

charlie

Wherever is easiest for you. Might find it easier just to tap into the the fuse box even, because I found getting the switches out to get at the wires on the 45s dash was too difficult.

That and I'm lazy :D
