Hello, I have managed to get a hold of a Hanes Uno manual and am not sure what is suitable for my car (chapter 13 is great though, has alot). I'm hunting down the immobilizer circuit from a bad security system install. The central locking would sometimes twitch (even during driving!) and I generally didn't like the lumped up spaghetti loom made by the installer. It seems to be a type of separate but combo'ed thing with huge bulky and differing relays for azillion things as well as shoddy splicing and inline (on wire!) fuses. Range was bad also (batteries(!) fine), I might replace the unit with a better one, redo the install cleanly or just delete and save me the hastle.

I have attached a scan of the diagram. Can anyone verify for me if this is suitable? I would hate to have to decipher the harnesses (could take forever). Should I trust these wire colors?

Thanks,
Tamer

Update:
The immobilizer was implemented using the orange (C) wire going from the starter switch (89) to the ignition coil (14). This effectively connects/disconnects the engine's fuel and ignition through the respective units' power input. Rejoining to the original orange restores stock circuit. I still have to make then into need connections though.

Next step removing the rest of the spaghetti of the central locking mechanism, but that is another story.

Regards,
Tamer
