A slight variation on the other idle problems:
I have a '94 Uno Pacer 1400 with twin choke Weber carb. Occasionally (hot or cold), idle drops to about 3-400rpm (from about 1000) and sometimes cuts out. The car starts again immediately, but may or may not idle. I can control it with a bit of throttle, but it gets tricky doing the toe-heel thing in heavy trafic. In all other respects, the engine is behaving perfectly.
Speaking to the local Fiat dealer, he immediately said "vacuum advance", so I duely replaced it to no avail.
I suspect the carb's idle control valve or the idle sensor. Anyone ou there know how to test it?
