Why not?

Here's the thing:

The inlet manifold is already set up perfectly for modifications.

The injectors and the fuel rail fit mount without the upper part while the temperature sensor and brake servo vacuum hose are present as well, leaving just A) idle control valve, B) Vacuum sensor, C) Throttle position sensor and D) the throttle bodies themselves to be adapted.

The most challenging part here would be to manufacture an adapter from the inlet manifold to the throttle bodies, but if this "kit" would be to be fitted on Suzuki GSX-R 600 throttle bodies, it would just be a base plate with four tubes, and four silicone couplings.

As for the vacuum sensor, you can just fit a snug tube to it, which hooks into the (present) vacuum lines off the throttle bodies.

The throttle position sensor is just a potentiometer which should require either just a straight adapter or a resistor in-between.

I have no idea, yet, about the idle control, but the GSX-R assembly has one that seems to work identically, so some electrical magic could make that one work, too.

Here's the GSX-R 600 assembly:

I'm interested in a kit that has all neccessary parts in it to mount that thing onto a 1.2 or 1.4 16V, as a proper, American-style bolt-on way to increase the performance of these engines. I have a GSX-R 600 assembly coming and I'm looking into figuring out a low-cost way to adapt the signals of the IAW to this thing.

Now I'm looking for someone who is interested in manufacturing some 100-odd adapter plates, so that anyone who wants individual thottle bodies can just bolt them on and enjoy them. Fiat tuning parts are rare (other than the ususal "cams, cold-air intake, exhaust and exhause manifold"), and I think that something like this would be a great thing to have, as I don't seem to be the only one who enjoys the SuperFIRE.

Anyone interested in this: Please make yourself heard. And if someone wants to make those adapter plates (as I'm no metal guy), let me know as well. Otherwise, I'll have to duct tape the throttle assembly onto the car :D
