We've just purchased a nearly new tipo and neither my partners Huawei p20 or my galaxy s7 will pair with u connect in it! Both phones worked with our previous 500L also running u connect. Is this common, any suggestions?

Not sure what you've tried ,but have you cleared all the paired devices from the Uconnect ?,also try clearing user data from it,HTH

I'll try that, only had it 4 hrs so gone back to dealer as driver door lock isn't working! Got a brand new a design as courtesy car now. If nothing works after clearing is there anything else to try?

I'd get the dealer to show you how to do it,not doubting your ability but it's always nice to hand an issue to someone else to sort/confirm,like when i picked mine up the Uconnect app needed a reset which is head office ony

I'll ask, it's android 8 on both, Google tells me may not be compatible?

I'm on Android 8.1 on a Pixel and no issues,so I wouldn't worry too much on that ?

My s7 now connects, I had to do with WiFi off but other half's Huawei p20 wont no matter what I try. Anyone else got this phone and paired successfuly?
