Just thought i'd show you guys some pictures I took at a tour of the zcars factory yesterday. If you've not heard of them they basically specialise in putting hayabusa bike engines in the back of old school minis! They're doing some other seriously cool stuff right now. Ill let the photos do the talking :D

Some really interesting projects going on there, that must have been a good tour. I'm not entirely sure how keen I would be on a 500 in such good shape having a Subaru engine, somehow feel that it should have had a more modern FIAT engine, but that's just me.

I do however really like the idea of a "kit car" (I use the term advisedly) with a powerful, small engine such as a Superbike unit or a 1.4 Multiair.

That Hillman Dimp reminded me of some that used to take part in "Super Saloon" racing in the '70s. One used to run with a Cosworth BDG Formula 2 engine and the other had a DFV under the, er, well, roof I suppose you could say

Yeah it was really good mate :) I know what you mean there but if they keep it looking completely standard on the outside, it could work.
