...but more positive press for the 100HP. Bit of a strange comparison, but I guess that is the nature of the article.

Still, annoying isn't it that stupid mainstream media in this country bang on about main dealer prices? FIATsupasaver currently has 100s at £7495.00; can you source any new Note for less than £8K?

From a boring personal perspective, this is probably the first ever group test (does two count as a group?) I’ve ever read where I’ve driven both cars. And for all my bias, the Note is a mighty fine car…

The note is aimed at completely different people! They said that the Note is more economical, but surely they should compare it to the (much cheaper) 1.2 which will get similar performance and better economy than the Note. The Panda is much faster, and smaller!

As a current 100hp owner and a past Note owner, I am a little confused over the choice of the two for a comparison.

The Note is a much bigger car and to get the same spec as the 100hp would mean a lot more cash. I took 4 adults plus enough luggage for a week on holiday in the Note - try that with a Panda!!!

I can only assume that because the Note is based on a Micra platform and as such is classed as a supermini, they decided to test them together.

Schwenck: I had a quick look at your 100hp website - very nice (y)

One question tho - what is that awesome looking CD/Sat Nav system pictured in Gallery 2 next to the standard unit.......I want one......now!!!
