My mate has confirmed he will come and check out the italian cars with us at designer outlet - so me and him are flying the Merc and Ford flags lol, be nice lol.

i hope i can still come to this, my car isnt playing nice at the mechanics and apparently quite a lot of the electrics arent working properly so god knows how long its gonna be in the garage

Tell me about it, just spent £300 on the stilo electrics and now they all work - until y'day when something broke and something snapped and things fell out the bottom of the car, now its knackered once more god damn it! Not had chance to look but think a belt tensioner has committed suicide, makes a horrid noise when running but runs fine so its not the cambelt, phew! found a bits of a bearing and belt up the road though.

Right then guys a while ago there was some talk about a group of us meeting up in Bradford and convoying over to York.

Just wanted to see if this is still going ahead and if so are there agreed times and place?

Right, a couple of points on my behalf for today...

1st. Got an email from the Denison Arms with a menu on it... Called them up, they had no recollection of me calling to cancel. :bang:

It i becoming increasingly unlikely that i will be attending the Scarborough leg of the meet

The Punto has come over all Italian and has had multiple electrical faults in the last few days. the biggest worry at the moment is the Lambda. consumption has gone from 45mpg to 32mpg in the space of 3 days. you can actually smell the engine running rich. Coolant has also dropped slightly but oil is fine. so need to check the HG too. There is also an annoying rattle under acceleration at 3000rpm which i need to check that its not serious.

I will still be at the York start of the meet, but traveling to Scarborough and back might be a bit much for the little car. I think it heard that im selling it in July and has gone on strike...

Well i might not be turning up at all with the state of my car at the moment. All the major electrics in the engine bay are pretty much getting replaced :bang:

I live in poppleton but il let you know in the next couple of days because it might be the ecu which means ill be either breaking the car or selling it spares or repair because it wont even run now

ah, the lad with the fiesta lives in poppy live down end of Millfield Lane next to a nursery i think it is (or village hall type thingy). Is on the right down the end if you have BP etc behind you. Its ney bother, one of us can bring you for sure

duff ecu isn't that bad really, just need one from a scrappies with matching key and ignition barrel

Thats awesome, get some pics up! Glad that they have been put too good use at last haha. Il try and get down either getting a lift with someone of i can borrow my mums clio and just come meet you all at designer. I am determined to get there lol i want to put names to faces at last after a year of being on this forum!

classic Panda or Nouvo Panda? well at the moment its 2 of each. might be wrong. not too sure on peoples specific cars.

the most prominent car will be Punto's. then weirdly Alfa's.... (thats not model specific)


Car is in the garage. Turns out the rattling was the radiator falling off the car. the top bracket has snapped and is allowing the rad to flex back and forth... guess thats what happens when you replace it yourself... The lamdba is been replaced, the precat one decided to be italian...

I will be at the start. not sure about the trip to scarborough. might drive some of the way. depends on money and the cars condition...

currently no radiator on it. needs a new bracket fitting. and the piping reclipping. then bleeding of the coolant system. has leaked a bit. no air lock noticeable, temp has been fine, so HG is good FEW

Lambda is been delivered from Bosch to my local garage for me to collect and fit. will be tomorrow i think.
