...So thats where it all went wrong.

Did a trail run for the meet today.
a convoy of 2 Puntos! =D had no problems at all. The city centre of Scarborogh might be interesting for a large convoy, but will sort out print offs of maps for people
plenty of free parking on the sea front after 5pm. was parked right outside Harrys Fish and chips. The road to the Spa is sadly closed =( but the underground car park there is open (back up car park possibly?)
As i said the route will be fine no problems for a convoy of 2. dont know about 20+ cars...

Ironic we both posted then
had a few emails for Piston Heads. which is mainly because i forgot to update along with this thread. thats about it
I bet we could get some nice photo ops in the underground car park if we decide to get in there as a backup, depending on how many cars turn up on the day.
Yeah well i hope we have a massive convoy but then again it will be harder to control all the cars if some people dont know where they are going. Thats the only problem i can see

Ive got 2 walkie talkies... could make it 4 if needed. cheap set from ASDA, £19 for 2x 8channel 2mile radius handsets. quite good value i thought.
I think the station carpark will be good for photos, but the underground one could be just as good. =D see how big the convoy is and how busy Scarborough is... the pub will be fun. 25 cars trying to fit in a 15space car park???

I would recommend someone getting some more, would post a link, but there never on the website, only in store. they are good quality run off 2 AA battery. will try and get the other 2 of my mate.
I will call the pub in a couple of weeks once we have more definite numbers... but will be an estimate
Or ask people to call the pub and add there name to a group booking... means the pub know the exact numbers

Even blocking in people we may still take over the car park.. wouldnt want to be the car in the far corner (who ever is first i would guess... ohh, that might be me...:bang
Yeah i guess if we are all together it doesnt matter if we are all blocked in because we are all arriving and leaving at the same time

Yeah and add mine too because im booking this date off work on sunday to make sure i can get there. Even if i cant drive there im sure i could get a lift with someone if my cars playing up lol
